Master Johnny Maldonado

Johnny Maldonado began his training under Grandmaster Ray Szuch when he was 16 years old, in 1998. He quickly found a home at the Cleveland Academy of Self-Defense. Through many hours of commitment and dedication, Johnny quickly rose through the ranks. At a Purple Belt, he began teaching the children's class, under Grandmaster Ray Szuch's supervision.

In the summer of 2004, he tested for his 4th Dan in Tae Kwon Do and in Hapkido. Johnny has worked hard to follow in the footsteps of Grandmaster Ray Szuch, challenging the students to reach for their best and show them the champions within.  He was worked to develop and further expand on Grandmaster Szuch's legacy.
