Cleveland Academy
of Self-Defense was established in 1968 by
Grandmaster Ray Szuch. It has served the
community for over forty years, providing men, women, children
and families a means to protect themselves, as well as, gain the
many benefits of studying the traditional Martial Arts of Tae
Kwon Do and Hapkido.
- We offers different programs to
compliment the different needs of the students. Whether your
goal is fitness, competition or self-defense, we
have something for everyone. Learning the
Martial Arts grants everyone the opportunity to learn more
about themselves as well as grow through the many challenging
facets of the arts.

draw on their inner strength, to grow from challenge and face
any obstacles head on. Check out our different
programs and learn what they are about to see if they fit your
needs. We offer classes in Hapkido, Taekwondo, Sport Karate and
Self-Defense for men, women, children and teens.
